The SGI Image Library is intended solely for use by news organizations. Any person or entity, other than a news organization, that wishes to obtain permission to use any SGI intellectual property should request permission to do so by submitting SGI's Content License Request Form.

News organizations must credit the image clearly as specified. For other questions regarding use of these images by a news organization, please contact SGI Press Relations.

SGI® Virtu™ VN200
The Virtu VN is a high density, highly scalable visualization system that can fully incorporate leading edge visualization capabilities into SGI's Full Line of Altix®, Altix® XE, and Altix® ICE High Productivity Clusters. The Virtu VN features the latest generation of Intel® Quad-Core Xeon™ processors and NVIDIA® Quadro™ FX technologies. Up to 5 VN nodes can be contained in a 4U rack space, and node counts can be scaled up to meet any high performance visualization demand. It employs our comprehensive visualization enabled software environment stack - a suite of fully validated and optimized operating systems, utilities, and applications.
