SGI Presents High Performance Data Warehousing Solutions at German Oracle User Group Sunnyvale/Munich, November 18, 2008 — At the upcoming annual conference DOAG 2008 of the German Oracle User Group (Deutsche Oracle Anwendergruppe e.V.), Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI) (NASDAQ: SGIC) a leader in high-performance computing, visualization, storage, and services will showcase its new Adaptive Warehouse Solutions optimized for Oracle® data warehouses. The DOAG 2008 will take place from December 1st through December 3rd at the Messe Centrum in Nuremberg. The demonstrations featured in SGI's booth (114) will illustrate the company's extensive expertise in integrated medium to large enterprise solutions using Oracle® applications. At DOAG, SGI will also present third party frontend tools for SGI® Adaptive Data Warehouse Solution, including sophisticated business intelligence and data mining environments. Addressing the needs of ever larger Data Warehousing applications, SGI supports large-scale data warehouses for complex workloads with data volumes ranging from 1 to 400 Terabytes.
