SGI Sets Date for First Quarter Fiscal Year 2009 Earnings Release and Call

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (October 22, 2008)—SGI (NASDAQ: SGIC) announced today that it plans to release its first quarter fiscal year 2009 financial results after the market closes on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. The Company has scheduled a Webcast and conference call to discuss results on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. PST.

The Webcast will be available on the SGI Investors Relations Web page at the time of the call. New SGI Corporate Phone Numbers
SGI corporate phone numbers in Sunnyvale, Calif. are changing to reflect the local area code. Beginning October 27 the new main phone number for SGI corporate headquarters will be 408-524-1980. As SGI transitions to new phone numbers for its employees at corporate headquarters, callers will receive a recording indicating the number has changed. These changes will not affect the earnings call numbers provided.
