SGI Receives HPCwire Readers' and Editors' Choice Awards for Second Consecutive Year

SGI® Altix® UV Named 'Best HPC Server or Technology' and 'Top 5 New Products or Technologies to Watch'

FREMONT, Calif. — November 16, 2010 — SGI (NASDAQ: SGI), a trusted leader in technical computing, today announced that its Altix® UV, the world's fastest, most scalable shared memory supercomputer, has received an HPCwire Editors' Choice Award for the "Best HPC Server or Technology." In addition, SGI's Altix UV was honored by HPCwire readers with a Readers' Choice Award as one of the "Top 5 New Products for Technology."
