CEO of SGI Named to Hispanic IT Executive Council's prestigious HITEC 100 List
Fremont, CA — November 15, 2013 — SGI (Nasdaq: SGI), the trusted leader in high performance computing and Big Data, announced that the company's President and CEO, Jorge Luis Titinger, has been named to the Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council (HITEC)'s prestigious HITEC 100 list.
HITEC is a premier global executive leadership organization of senior business and IT executives. Since 2008, HITEC has compiled a comprehensive list featuring the top 100 most influential and notable Hispanic Professionals in the Information Technology Industry called the "HITEC 100." Jorge joins this accomplished list of professionals.
Before his 17-year career in the semiconductor equipment industry, Jorge spent 10 years in the computer industry, where he held positions of increasing responsibility at Hewlett-Packard Company, MIPS Computer Systems, Inc. and Silicon Graphics, Inc. He eventually joined Verigy Ltd., as Chief Operating Officer in June 2008, was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in January 2011 and led the company through a successful sale in late 2011. Jorge joined SGI as president and chief executive officer, as well as a member of its Board of Directors, on February 27, 2012, bringing with him a results-oriented approach and the ability to think strategically, which has helped to extend SGI's track record of innovation and growth.

Jorge was recognized as a HITEC 100 recipient last night during HITEC 100 Awards Dinner and Gala at the Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto, CA. The HITEC 100 nominating committee presented the award on stage to all winners during the dinner reception.
