The SGI® Global Developer Program offers Internet access to development systems to current Developer Online and Developer Plus members. The multiprocessor SGI® Origin® and SGI® Altix® systems are available for development, porting, and testing your applications on the IRIX® and Linux® operating systems. These systems are not appropriate for work on graphics applications.

Development Assistance
Please refer to documents on Supportfolio. Developers Plus can in addition Open a DOC Case if they have a valid Development Online Consulting agreement.
Eligibility
Requester must be a Developer Online or Developer Plus member of the SGI Global Developer Program.
Security/Privacy
- You will be sharing the machine with others. Set your file permissions accordingly.
- We provide all possible UNIX and Linux security on these machines.
- For preservation of the confidentiality of your work, we do not back up your data. Back up your work as you deem appropriate.
Rules
- No root or superuser access privileges
- No guest user privileges; the user account must be set up under your own name
- These systems are not appropriate for development of graphics applications
- Disk space is highly volatile and may be reconfigured without notice
- Account is set for one year and will expire without notice. You may renew your account on yearly
basis
