Supportfolio

The SGI Supportfolio is a premier resource for supporting your SGI system and related development efforts. Supportfolio provides you with online access to the following tools:

  • SGI Knowledgebase
This database of questions and answers can be searched by sophisticated knowledge management tools. The SGI Knowledgebase includes problem descriptions and how-to questions and their related solutions. Each problem (or question) includes environment conditions (information about the relevant product and system), symptoms, possible causes, and fixes (or how-to instructions). You can search the SGI Knowledgebase for solutions to problems you may have or to find information about performing tasks or procedures.
  • Problem resolution
The Problem Resolution tool allows you to open a Developer Online Consulting (DOC) case if you are current Developer Plus member with a valid DOC CasePack.
  • Downloads
This collection includes patches, IRIX updates, ProPack updates, releases, and more. Some downloads may be restricted to Developer Plus members.
  • Software Keys
If you purchased SGI software, you can obtain a license for the software by using Key-O-Matic, an online request tool for software keys.
  • Publications
A collection of documents, news, manuals, FAQs, and Product Release notes.
  • Developer Browse Area
One stop for technical information, webcast schedule and replays, news, events and resources only for members of the SGI Global Developer Program.

How to sign up to Supportfolio as Developer
To access Supportfolio, go to the Supportfolio login and you will be granted the limited Guest level of access to information. Please make sure that you update your contact information in "My Profile" and "System Management."

Once SGI receives your Developer membership application AND signed Developer Agreement, we will upgrade your entitlements in Supportfolio to the ISV level. As a Developer Online member, you will be able to download patches, IRIX and ProPack updates, and helpful information about porting on SGI systems. In addition, members of the Developer Plus program will be able to submit cases for DOC support.
