SGI® Altix® XE comes with a limited manufacturer's product warranty that includes:

Hardware warranty coverage

  • On-site hardware repair and parts replacement with next-business-day on-site response.
  • Replacement parts shipped Monday through Friday normal business hours.
Software warranty coverage
  • Telephone technical assistance (first 90 days only)
  • Software updates are not included
  • Applies only to operating systems installed by SGI

SGI® FullExpress™ Fast, comprehensive software and hardware support delivered by SGI service experts. Features a four-hour on-site response for hardware support, telephone technical assistance, and software updates for SGI® software products.
Mission-Critical This is the highest level of service available from SGI. It provides 7x24 support with a two-hour, on-site hardware response and a six-hour system-restoration commitment. A designated Technical Account Manager coordinates SGI support. Includes telephone technical assistance and software updates for SGI® software products.
Linux® Implementation Get on the fast track to productivity. Includes Linux software installation and configuration, disk/tape management, serial device connectivity, and a range of system administration services.
