CGW Innovation Award
OpenGL Optimizer has been selected by the Editors of Computer Graphics World as
Winner of a 1997 CGW Innovation Award. The purpose of the awards is to honor
the most innovative computer graphics products introduced in 1997.
CGW says, "Thanks to the sophistication of today's modeling tools, engineers
and designers are able to create highly sophisticated digital prototypes.
Unfortunately, because of system performance constraints, they're not always
able to view and interact with the models as they would like to. That's likely
to change, however, with this year's introduction by workstation vendor SGI."
IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications magazine
OpenGL Optimizer wins "Top 10 Software Products of 1997" award by IEEE Computer
Graphics and Applications magazine in their Jan/Feb issue.
