University of Connecticut Selects SGI Altix as Foundation of New Institute for Supercomputing and Visualization
University of Connecticut School of Engineering has decided to use SGI® Altix® for the new Connecticut Institute for Supercomputing and Visualization. The University's Altix run Novell® SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server, Version 9 and a range of applications, including Star-P™ from Interactive Supercomputing.
