What 64-bit Linux platforms does OpenGL Volumizer support?

The 64-bit Linux version was built and has been tested on the Silicon Graphics Prism® family of visualization systems with ATI® FireGL™ range of graphics accelerators. It is also known to run with other 64-bit Linux distributions on Itanium® 2 processor based hardware but these configurations are currently not officially supported. On 64-bit Linux, OpenGL Volumizer libraries are compiled with GNU compilers (GCC) version 3.23.

What are the dependencies for this release?

The libraries and sample programs built for this release have dependencies upon the following DSO's. For your convenience their corresponding package name from the system which built the images is included below. Many of the packages are included with Silicon Graphics Prism® systems as part of SGI's ProPack 3 Service Pack 2 or later:

How can I determine what version of glibc I have?

At a shell prompt, type:

rpm -qa | grep glibc

You should see output similar to the following:

glibc-2.3.2-95.30
glibc-common-2.3.2-95.30
glibc-devel-2.3.2-95.30
