The SGI InfiniteStorage 6120 is an ultra-dense, high-performance storage system appropriate for a wide variety of data storage requirements. Designed to maximize storage capacity, the SGI InfiniteStorage 6120 features dual integrated controllers and 60 drive slots in a 4U enclosure. The performance profile of the IS6120 fits a broad range of applications whether they require high bandwidth for large files or high IOPs for smaller files.
The SGI InfiniteStorage 6120 can expand to 120 drives in 8U with an additional enclosure, so you can manage and deploy the fewest number of systems. Select a combination of SSD, SAS or SATA drives to meet your performance and budget objectives.
Data Protection and Availability
Active-active controllers and a variety of RAID levels protect data and enhance availability. The SATAssure advanced feature actively prevents data corruption and minimizes exposure during drive rebuilds. This is especially important in larger deployments of large-capacity SATA drives.
