Half-Depth Rackable Storage Servers

Half-depth storage Servers provide the compelling density advantages of a compact 3U half-depth chassis profile – and with up to 12TB of reliable SATA II disk storage capacity in a half-depth 3U form factor, this can provide an incredible 24TB storage capacity in just 3U of rack space when mounted in a Rackable Systems Cabinet. Half-depth servers are configurable with a choice of one or two dual or quad-core Intel or AMD processors, chassis profile options with 6, 9 or 12 SAS or SATA II hot-swap disk drives, and are expandable via high-speed PCI-Express and/or PCI-X slots.

Standard-Depth Rackable Storage Servers

Standard-depth Storage Servers provide a choice of compact 2U or 3U, standard-depth chassis profile - ideal for standard hot/cold aisle data centers. The 2U chassis profile delivers eight SAS or SATA II hot-swap disk drives, for up to 8.0TB of reliable SATA II disk storage capacity. The 3U chassis profile offers 18 SAS or SATA II hot-swap drive bays for up to 18.0TB of SATA II disk storage capacity, enabling a very dense storage footprint in standard rack deployments. Standard-depth servers are configurable with a choice of one or two dual or quad-core Intel or AMD processors and are expandable via multiple high-speed PCI-Express and/or PCI-X slots.
