The Intel® Cluster Ready Program tests system configuration for clustered systems, and includes the software tool, Intel Cluster Checker, used to validate that system and application software are installed correctly for all the nodes in the cluster. SGI has received Intel Cluster Ready certification for SGI® Altix® XE and SGI® Altix® ICE systems.

SGI participates in the Intel Cluster Ready Program as an OEM partner. Intel Cluster Ready certification assures the customer that the combination of the clustered system and software work together correctly. SGI includes Intel Cluster Checker with all Intel Cluster Ready systems along with the results of the Intel Cluster Checker test. Customers can run Intel Cluster Checker periodically on their clustered system to make sure that the system continues to be configured correctly.
