Overview SGI® Electronic Support is a fully integrated suite of services that work together seamlessly to monitor and manage systems and proactively protect against problems. SGI Embedded Support Partner is a set of integrated system utilities that identify and log information about potential problems on SGI systems. It is included in SGI's Foundation Software for Linux-based systems. ESP's event detection capabilities can streamline and automate the process of opening a support case and resolving system-related problems. SGI Supportfolio™ is our customer support portal that provides the latest updates on patch sets and software releases. Customers can browse manuals, user guides and technical publications. Customers can also register systems under warranty or a Service Plan to open service cases online, and monitor and manage existing cases. The Supportfolio online account is also used to access our YAST/YUM server for updating Linux systems with the latest software. The SGI Knowledgebase helps you resolve system problems quickly. Log on anytime to describe a problem or pose a question, then search a database of thousands of possible causes, fixes, or how-to instructions. With SGI's integrated suite of electronic support services, problems can be detected and resolved before you even know they exist.
