  • Record Q3 Revenue. GAAP Revenue $143.7 million, up 33% Y/Y;
    Non-GAAP Revenue $135.8 million, up 5% Y/Y
  • Record Q3 Gross Margin. GAAP Gross margin 28.2%, up 137 bps Y/Y;
    Non-GAAP Gross Margin 29.9%, up 235 bps Y/Y
  • GAAP EPS of ($0.05) compared to ($0.67) last year; Non-GAAP EPS of $0.07 compared to ($0.36) last year
  • Cash of $133.8M million, up 20% Q/Q
  • Re-affirming FY2011 guidance; Non-GAAP EPS expected between $0.40 and $0.50

SGI now offers pre-configured data intensive solutions for its flexible and energy-efficient SGI® Rackable™ and SGI® CloudRack™ C2 family of rackmount and tray-based servers. These solutions support Hadoop as the overlying application layer, and can be designed and built with the customer's choice of processors.

arrow right SGI 9th Annual SGI User Group (SGIUG) Conference Concludes

sgiugThe ninth annual SGI User Group Conference took place at the Silicon Valley Marriott Hotel from May 2-5. Attendees from around the world participated in a total of 61 sessions; these included seven keynote addresses from SGI, NASA Ames Research Center, National Geographic and Imperial College in London, along with 52 engineering sessions and technical tracks.

The next European User Group conference will take place in London in October 2011, and planning for the 2012 US SGI User Conference will soon be underway. Be sure to visit www.sgiug.org to view the 2011 program.

SGI announced it is expanding support of the Lustre® file system to include Level 3 support, and now provides complete end-to-end coverage for its customers. Lustre is a massively parallel file system, capable of supporting compute clusters of thousands of nodes and many petabytes of storage. The addition of Level 3 support brings the SGI® Lustre® solution for scale-out computing environments to a support level equivalent to CXFSTM, SGI's own high-performance scale-up clustered file system.
