Audience

This course is designed for individuals responsible for selling, deploying, maintaining or supporting SANtricity-managed systems.

Pre-requisites

Participants should have a basic understanding of computer networks, RAID technology, storage area network (SAN) concepts, basic fibre cable technology, and Fibre Channel topology. They should understand basic computing operating systems such as Linux, Windows or Sun-Solaris). Participants should also have a foundation in storage area network (SAN) design, including typical hardware and logical components.

Course Description

This course presents the technical aspects of the SANtricity-based systems product line, as well as the basic storage system fundamentals. Participoants will have the opportunity to install and configure the SANtricity Storage Manager software.
