Platform's LSF Advanced Configuration & Administration course is designed to extend the system administrator's knowledge to include advanced Platform LSF functionality and commands to configure and manipulate site-specific resources and enhance the current cluster design. The workshops provide valuable experience with the gathering of site-defined shared resources such as licenses, the configuration of job submission and execution environments, dynamic cluster configurations, etc. The system administrator will also learn helpful hints and tips and develop fundamental troubleshooting skills.
Who Should Attend
The Platform LSF Advanced Configuration & Administration course has been developed for system administrators and advanced end-users who are responsible in extending the role of Platform LSF in site-defined cluster resource management and who require the implementation of job and resource controls.
Course Pre-requisite
Attendees must have taken Platform LSF Basic Configuration & Administration or who have equivalent working experience with Platform LSF.

Registration & Confirmation

- Registration will be formal and confirmed only with issue of a Purchase Order or Credit Card payment at least 21 working days prior to first day of training.
Student Travel and Living Expenses
- Will have to be borne by the students.
- We do not recommend purchase of non-refundable travel tickets.

Class Timing
Class timings are 9 AM to 5 PM local time for full day training. 2.5 Day courses end after noon.
Course Material
Every participant will be provided 1 set of the copyrighted Platform Training material and other student material.

Platform Course Cancellation
- Platform Computing reserves the right to cancel a course 5 days prior to the start of the course due to insufficient registrations or other unforeseen circumstances.
- All students will be informed and given the option to refund their payment or receive equivalent credit towards a future course.
Student Cancellation
Cancellation to be requested and confirmed at least 15 working days before the date of start of the course for full refund. For cancellation thereafter 25% of the course fee will be charged as cancellation fee and no refund will be provided.
