Embedded Support Partner
SGI® Embedded Support Partner (ESP) is a problem-detection and solution-generating software program that's built into the IRIX® operating system and SGI ProPack product. This program monitors SGI machines to detect conditions that suggest potential system problems and notifies you if something is amiss. In the event a problem is discovered, ESP alerts both SGI and you, via the notification method you prefer (plain text or encrypted e-mail, pager, or console message).
