The company provides comprehensive, cost-effective, and innovative benefits intended to meet the varying needs of our employees. Health and Welfare Plans
SGI provides comprehensive medical coverage that offers most employees a choice of plans - ranging from HMO to PPO to high-deductible plans. Highlights include low out-of-pocket costs, prescription drug coverage, and preventative benefits. Our medical carriers are Anthem and Kaiser.
SGI offers comprehensive dental benefits through MetLife. Employees may select from either a basic comprehensive plan or a premium plan, depending on their own unique needs.
SGI offers comprehensive vision benefits through Vision Service Plan (VSP). As with dental, SGI's vision plan comes with options for basic or premium coverage to allow employees the flexibility.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are special accounts that allow you to set part of your income aside, on a pre-tax basis, to pay for eligible health care and dependent care expenses. SGI provides a health care spending account and a dependent care spending account.
SGI provides employees with basic life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance at no cost to the employee at two times your annual earnings, up to a maximum of $750,000.
For employees who become disabled due to illness or injury and unable to work for an extended period of time, SGI provides Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability income protection at no cost.
SGI 401(K) Plan
SGI's 401(k) plan lets you save for the future while taking advantage of company matching contributions and a full range of investment options. Through payroll deductions, employees can direct up to 90% of their eligible earnings (up to an IRS annual maximum) into the savings plan. SGI's plan offers both a traditional pre-tax option and an after-tax Roth contribution option. To boost your retirement savings, SGI also provides a generous employer match to your contributions.
SGI Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
SGI offers employees the opportunity to share ownership of the company through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. The ESPP enables you to purchase, through payroll deduction, shares of our common stock at a discount of 15% of the fair market value at the time of purchase.
SGI provides educational reimbursement for courses or degree programs directly related to an employee's job. Regular full-time employees that have completed the ninety day orientation period are eligible for educational assistance up to $4,000 annually.

SGI offers a variety of recreational and fitness activities to nurture healthy, active and balanced lifestyles, including onsite fitness facilities in most of our major locations.
Employee Assistance Program
To assist employees in handling the logistics of today's busy lifestyle, we offer an Employee Assistance Program which provides free, confidential support at no cost to our employees.
Time Off Programs
Goal Oriented Time Off Program (GOTO)
SGI offers a unique paid time off benefit that aligns with our culture of empowerment. The SGI GOTO (Goal Oriented Time Off) program is a flexible, "just in time" approach to paid time off. It can be used to request paid time off for vacation, personal illness or injury, family illness/injury, personal business or pursuits, or absence necessitated by an emergency. There is no set limit to the amount of GOTO time an employee can take.
SGI provides eleven paid holidays each year.
